Following your appointment with Highlands Surgery, you may have been asked to have some investigations done.
Results of those tests we have requested at Highlands Surgery in general are available after 5 days.
You may be informed specifically with some tests that they will be longer by the clinician.
These results will be available on the NHS App or SystmOnline/Airmid app as well, so there is no need to contact the surgery regarding this.
If abnormal results needing action are identified by our clinicians you, will be informed.
Test Results Arranged Outside of Highlands Surgery
Results of investigations arranged outside the surgery are not sent to us any quicker than you will hear and more often than not we wont have access to them.
You need to contact the requesting Hospital or Clinician to obtain these results – not through Highlands Surgery.
If you have any issues in doing so you should contact the hospitals complaint line known as PALS – Patient Advice and Liaison Service.
